A set of cutlery designed for use onboard of spacecrafts. In 2018 Elon Musk announced that SpaceX, within few years will be launching the first space tourists on a flight around the moon. Daily activities within a spacecraft comes with many challenges, one of which is the consumption of food; The low gravity environment causes objects to levitate and the majority of food is consumed directly from the vacuum sealed bags it’s stored in.

Suction cups enable the cutlery to be fixed to the aluminum surfaces of the spaceship. The clip on the back of both the fork and the spoon serves as a way of temporarily closing an opened bag of food. Asymmetrical shaped heads allow for scraping out leftover food from the bags. Moulded in glass reinforced polypropylene the set is lightweight and goes to space in a storage friendly box.
